Raleigh's Revenio Carbon 2.0 is quick, efficient and comfortable thanks to the inherent vibration damping properties in Raleigh's Direct Connect carbon frameset. On top of that, you get Raleigh's renowned frame geometry for excellent handling and stability. Plus, this fine road rig boasts quality components like the Shimano 105 20-speed drivetrain with a wide-range crankset for easy climbing and sure-stopping 105 brakes for excellent speed control on the descents. You'll also love the lightweight Weinmann rims, choice Vittoria tires and the sweet seat and handlebar from Avenir.
For increased stiffness and improved steering precision, tapered head tubes (see image, on left) and forks pair an oversize lower steerer tube (usually 1 1/2-inch, see image, on right) with a standard diameter upper steerer tube (usually 1 1/8-inch). This combination sheds weight compared to straight 1 1/2-inch systems, and adds stability and stiffness when compared to straight 1 1/8-inch systems. The result is a bike that tracks better through corners while allowing for the use of standard stems.
